Hence the use of "the code", when you over farm a location.
I cant see them rewarding farming with a title.
It is a shame, because any activity which you do for a long time and put alot of effort into should be rewarded. But farming isnt looked upon nicely by Anet.

LoL, how isn't farming rewarding? I think getting gold, dyes, and gold/green items is reward enough for your time devoted.

A farmer title would be great because:
- Anti-farming code would be more efficient. Rather than doing a compare on a character's activities, it does a boolean check on whether the character has a farming title.
- Strokes the ego of farmers, keeps them happy, and they may complain less.
- Keeps farmers from playing in PUGs because now they'll only play with each other.

Runescape much? I actually love this idea, slayer was one of my favorite skills.
Anyway, a title for farming = /notsigned
But maybe some way to show total experience to other players? I wouldn't mind flashing my war's 1.8m exp to other players some times

Points awarded for quests worth 5k or more completed, like those in the Fissure of Woe and UW, and another title for how many Greens you have picked up from a boss. I want to know who is a really bad noob and has no experience, and those who are good, and want to "farm" the fissre of woe. What is this place for if not to farm! Anet won't make these farming areas if they were against farming.

I would say there is a greater chance that anet would introduce a scamming title.

I still fail to see how a farming title would mean that you're experienced. Farming griffons with a vengeance doesn't give you any real experience

Anet is obviously against grinding and you want a pure farming title...
Those "farming titles" weren't meant to be farmed, they were put in to show that your character has played in a lot of higher-level areas, and they now have a purpose in salvaging items
